  Artist Hubert Phipps is the original author of this polished stainless steel rocket sculpture. It’s a retro-futuristic stainless steel sculpture that stands 30 feet tall and weighs nearly 10 tons. An avid pilot, Phipps frequently flew from his Virginia studio to Palm Beach, where his family were early pioneers and one of his ancestors was one of the first female pilots in the 1920s.
